189-Unit Broadstone Promenade Project Underway in Long Beach

By The Registry Staff

Downtown Long Beach is abuzz with the construction progress of Broadstone Promenade, a mixed-use apartment complex by developer Alliance Residential. The project, located at 127 E. Broadway, is making strides, with wood framing nearing its peak. Once completed, the eight-story building will comprise a mix of 189 studio, one-, two and three-bedroom apartments, according to a report from Urbanize LA.

In addition to the residential space, Broadstone Promenade will also offer 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a three-level subterranean garage with 257 parking spaces.

The design of Broadstone Promenade comes from Studio T-Square 2. The renderings showcase an exterior adorned with cantilevered balconies. The completed project will also offer amenity decks at the roof level and above the third floor, creating inviting spaces for relaxation and socializing.

Studio T-Square 2 has artfully crafted Broadstone Promenade to evoke the essence of the Long Beach waterfront. Drawing inspiration from the region’s rich maritime heritage, the apartment complex features an illuminated tower reminiscent of a lighthouse. Additionally, an undulating canopy above the ground level pays homage to the nearby beach.

The development is expected to be completed later this year.

The surrounding area has seen a number of developments over the past several quarters. The project site is nearby City Place mall, which will also be seeing new development. That site is currently planned for a 900-unit mixed-use project, according to The Registry’s previous reporting. Plans for the project, located at 450 The Promenade North, come from Turnbridge Equities and Waterford Properties.
Holland Partner Group also recently began construction on a 271-unit development at 131 W. 3rd St. and 250 Pacific Ave. Once complete, the project will include an eight-story building with a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment units.
