More residential and office space will be coming to Los Angeles, following the approval of a 30-story mixed-use tower by the Los Angeles Planning Commission. The project, which is proposed by Jade Enterprises, would take shape along Main Street with completion likely by 2026.

The project will be located at 1121-1163 Main Street near Los Angeles’ Fashion District. In total, plans from architecture firm MVE + Partners show a mixed-use development with 363 residential units and 12,500 square feet of commercial and retail use. In total, the project will encompass 343,447 square feet.

Of the total residential space, plans for the project show a mix of 122 studio units, 133 one-bedroom units, 96 two-bedroom units and 12 three-bedroom units.

The project also includes a large amenity deck with a total of 39,601 square feet of open space. In addition, the development would include 363 parking spaces and 195 bicycle parking spaces.

Located at the northwest corner of Main and 12th Street, the project site is currently developed with four commercial and retail buildings as well as the associated parking. The site sits in downtown Los Angeles, just south of the Cryptocurrency.com Arena and LA Live. Also nearby are Interstates 101, 110 and 10, providing easy access to other parts of the Greater Los Angeles area.

The project is also not far from another project planned by Jade Enterprises. This project, which is located at 1100 Main Street, would include the construction of a 354,100 square foot mixed-use building with 379 apartment units, according to previous reporting from The Registry.

Jade Enterprises is a commercial real estate company founded in Los Angeles during 1979. Since then, the company has created a diverse portfolio of properties across Southern California and Nevada.
