Boot Barn Holdings, the western-wear and work attire retailer, is set to move into a new sprawling 116,000 square foot headquarters space in Irvine. The company recently sealed the deal to lease a four-story office building located at 17100 Laguna Canyon Road, according to a report from the Orange County Business Journal. This transition is slated for next year, following essential tenant renovations.

Boot Barn’s forthcoming headquarters at Spectrum Terrace, a property owned by Newport Beach-based real estate giant Irvine Company, will mark a 37 percent increase in space compared to its current 84,600 square foot hub situated at 15345 Barranca Parkway. Boot Barn’s lease for its existing headquarters, also owned by the Irvine Company, is due to expire in August of the coming year.

Irvine Company completed its expansive nine-building, 1.1 million square foot Spectrum Terrace campus just last year. Since then, numerous tenants have signed leases at the campus, including Apple, which took 55,667 square feet of space at 17800 Laguna Canyon Road, a building totaling 115,000 square feet.

Other tenants at the campus include CoStar, Alteryx, Coca-Cola Co. and various others.

The decision for Boot Barn to expand its office space follows years of growth. Founded in 1978, Boot Barn maintains more than 345 stores in 43 states. The company’s performance for the quarter ending on July 1 also showed promising signs, with net sales reaching $384 million, marking a 4.9 percent increase compared to the previous year, according to information from the company.
