Vancouver-based Bosa Development is continuing its expansion into San Diego with the completion of its most recent residential project, Diega. The 617-unit development is now available for leasing after being completed earlier this spring.

Located at 702 Broadway in downtown San Diego, Diega consists of two residential towers rising 41 stories high. According to the property’s website, the luxury apartment complex offers a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units as well as several penthouse configurations. Apartment units range in size from 591 square feet to nearly 2,000 square feet, with rental rates ranging anywhere from $3,000 to more than $7,000 per month.

In addition to the residential units, the property also provides future tenants with a variety of onsite amenities, including a co-working lounge, fitness center and social lounge. A sky terrace also will provide residents with an outdoor pool and spa, grilling area and dedicated pet area.

“For over 20 years Bosa has been at the forefront of transforming Downtown San Diego into a dynamic world-class living destination. This legacy continues with Diega,” Bosa states on its website. “…Its designer apartment residences feature panoramic views, unrivaled amenities and beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy one of the world’s best climates. All in a walkable location that puts residents within easy reach of the city’s best destinations.”

With designs from Jules Wilson Design Studio, the contemporary-styled residential towers were designed with neutral tones to provide a calming environment while also complementing the surrounding skyline and San Diego Bay views on the horizon. Inside, residents also will find modern finishes, including quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, wood flooring and more.

The property is within walkable distance to retail, dining, entertainment and more. The property is also within close proximity to San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter and East Village neighborhoods as well as several stops along the San Diego Trolley.

“Diega is located at the center of downtown San Diego. It puts you at the intersection of the best neighborhoods and destinations – all easily walkable and bikeable. It’s true city living…From restaurants and cafes, to sports and entertainment, art galleries and music venues to parks and outdoor escapes, work spaces and growing downtown offices – everything is within a few minutes of your front door,” the property website states.

While located in Vancouver, Bosa Development first moved into San Diego with the completion of its first residential project, 211-unit Horizons project in 1998. In total, the real estate development company has completed ten commercial and residential projects, totaling 2,200 units, in San Diego. In addition to its Vancouver and San Diego offices, the company also can be found in Calgary and Seattle.
