Building Industry Association of Southern California Announces the Passing of Brian Nestande

IRVINE, Calif.–The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) is deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Brian Nestande, Senior Vice President of the BIA Coachella Valley Chapter.

Brian was instrumental in advocating for new housing in the Coachella Valley and was a passionate champion for housing policies. His public service as a state legislator and his unwavering commitment to Riverside County was served with exemplary distinction, a testament to his dedication and passion.

“Brian was a true friend and colleague,” said Jeff Montejano, BIASC CEO. “On a personal level, his presence, guidance, and spirit have been a source of inspiration and strength that helped shape our organization into what it is today. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his enduring legacy, which will be a part of BIASC’s history.”

“Brian was a visionary leader who made a significant impact on the Coachella Valley,” said Craig Foster, BIASC COO. “Brian’s knowledge, experience, and positive attitude were invaluable assets to our association. His loss will be felt throughout the building industry community.”

Brian’s remarkable contributions to the building industry will always have a historical impact that will not soon be forgotten.
