More than 125 players and participants came out to support the annual summer fundraiser for Building Block Foundation Fund
Irvine and Newport Beach, CA (July 13, 2023) – Blue skies and horsetail clouds were the perfect backdrop for the 2023 CREW OC Charity Pickleball Tournament recently held at the Tennis & Pickeball Club on Tuesday, June 20, in Newport Beach. The afternoon event, hosted by CREW Orange County (Commercial Real Estate Women) and Investors Philanthropic/Joy of Giving was the chapter’s inaugural event, featuring the nationally recognized and popular sport of pickleball.
During the playoffs and team competitions, attendees enjoyed the festivities of a taco bar with drinks, a live DJ and swag bags along with a silent auction. The three teams receiving awards were: first place: Adam Surico and Mac Wiesner from Greystar, second place: Eric Paulsen from Kidder Matthews and Cindy Paulsen, and third place: Frances Pawlak from Corporate Business Interiors, and Chad Epeneter from Howard Building Corporation.
