Los Angeles – Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, a division of Kennedy-Wilson Properties, Ltd., announced today that Kalaveras, a Southern California-based fast casual Mexican restaurant group, has leased space for its first Burbank location. Christine Deschaine, Senior Vice President and Kyle Fishburn, Senior Associate at Kennedy Wilson Brokerage represented the landlord, The Leifer Trust, for this lease, a 6,750 square-foot space at 221 North San Fernando Blvd. between Palm Ave. and Orange Grove Ave.
Steps from the newly renovated Burbank Town Center, Kalaveras will fill a void in the market for fresh Mexican fare, joining popular eateries including Yard House, Finney’s Crafthouse, Silverlake Ramen, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, Tender Greens, Granville and others. The restaurant will open in the former Fuddruckers space, which sits prominently on busy San Fernando Blvd., just one block from AMC Burbank 16, one of the busiest locations in the theater chain according to the Downtown Burbank Partnership, and close to major area employers including Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Netflix and Disney.

Now undergoing a planned renovation, the new Kalaveras location in Burbank will feature indoor-and proposed outdoor seating for guests and a more open-air feel. According to its website, Burbank is one of several locations the restaurant group has announced as coming soon.
