16,485 s.f. lease expansion brings three-building campus to 100% occupancy
Rancho Bernardo, CA – May 20, 2024- Drawbridge Realty has assisted Leonardo DRS, Inc., a leading innovator and supplier of integrated products, services and support to military forces, intelligence agencies and defense contractors worldwide, in the expansion of its presence in Rancho Bernardo.
Leonardo DRS leased an additional 16,485 s.f. at Drawbridge’s Discovery Corporate Center, Building D at 16465 Via Esprillo. The Italian-owned defense contractor now occupies the entire 84,277 s.f. building, which was built in 2011 as a build-to-suit for Broadcom. Leonardo DRS will use the space to expand its research facility in Rancho Bernardo and provide additional office space.
The lease retains the occupancy at Drawbridge’s three-building Class-A office property, which also includes 16340 West Bernardo Drive and 11020 Via Frontera leased by Apple and Broadcom, to 100%.

In addition, Drawbridge recently completed construction of the first new spec office/R&D building in Rancho Bernardo in more than a decade on Via Del Campo Court. The three-story building at 16705 Via Del Campo Court is partly leased to semiconductor giant ASML. The first floor, totaling 25,493 s.f., is currently available for lease and being marketed by Jay Alexander or Tim Olson of JLL.
