Oak View Group, a leader in sports and entertainment venue development, is leaving Los Angeles and heading toward its new headquarters location in Denver. According to a report from the Denver Business Journal, the company is moving from its Los Angeles headquarters at 11755 Wilshire Blvd. to the Denver Tech Center.

The move comes shortly after Colorado’s Economic Development Commission made an offer to OVG in the form of $5.3 million in job growth tax credits. In July, shortly after receiving these incentives, OVG formalized its presence in Colorado by registering as a foreign limited liability company, designating its principal office at 5050 S. Syracuse St. in the Denver Tech Center, according to the report.

Although the Denver office is not yet featured on the company’s official website or social media platforms, OVG has initiated a recruitment drive with 33 job openings, all centered in the Denver Tech Center. At present, OVG employs approximately 30,000 individuals worldwide, with plans to add 150 more to its workforce in Denver. These employment opportunities, as facilitated by the state’s Economic Development Commission, come with the stipulation that new positions offer an average annual salary of $230,733.

Oak View Group was founded in 2015 and has approximately 300 venues across the globe as well as more than $5 billion committed to developing new arena developments in the next three years. The company has developed a number of venues throughout the Western United States, including the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert and many others. In addition to its Los Angeles headquarters, the company’s website also notes offices in Philadelphia, London, New York and Toronto.
