Universal Music Group's recording arm renewed and expanded a 45,069-square-foot office footprint at 2120 Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica during the third quarter, a deal that, paired with its separate 51,095-square-foot new location at 2100 Colorado Avenue, puts roughly 96,000 square feet of fresh commitments behind the music company in a submarket where nearly a third of office space sits available, according to Savills.
