ALPS Group of Hotels has started construction on a full repositioning of the 20-acre former Four Points Sheraton site on Aero Drive, wagering that a Marriott soft-brand conversion can turn a 1987-vintage hotel into a neighborhood anchor for one of San Diego's fastest-changing submarkets.
