Fortress Investment Group emerged as the new owner of the vacant, three-building Art Deco office complex at 9050 Washington Boulevard after credit-bidding roughly $71 million at an Aug. 24 trustee's sale, capping a foreclosure that wiped out more than half of the campus's 2019 value and dealt a fresh blow to Hackman Capital Partners' entertainment-heavy portfolio.
