Jamison Services, a prominent developer based in Koreatown, has been given the green light by the Los Angeles Planning Commission to proceed with the construction of two striking 23-story apartment buildings. The development, situated at 3600 Wilshire Boulevard, marks a milestone for the neighborhood’s evolving skyline, Urbanize Los Angeles reported.

The project, which has been in the works for eight years, will see the transformation of a parking garage behind an office tower into a modern residential complex. Designed by the esteemed firm Perkins&Will, each tower will soar 269 feet into the sky, boasting floor-to-ceiling glass windows adorned with external balconies, offering residents breathtaking views of the cityscape.

Upon completion, the dual highrises will house a total of 760 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, catering to a diverse range of residents. The ground floors of the buildings will host 6,400 square feet of retail space as well. Furthermore, parking facilities for nearly 1,300 cars will be provided to accommodate residents and visitors.

Residents of these luxurious towers can anticipate a host of amenities, including rooftop pools, a shared fitness center and landscaped plazas with pools below.

The project reflects Jamison Services’ commitment to revitalizing the Koreatown neighborhood. Notably, this venture aligns with the company’s track record of successful developments in the area, including previous projects on Wilshire Boulevard and ongoing construction of a hotel across Harvard Boulevard from the 3600 Wilshire site.

Founded in 2013, Jamison Services, a unit of Jamison Properties, has established itself as a key player in the Los Angeles real estate market. The company has a portfolio exceeding $3 billion, which includes ownership of 5,500 apartments in Los Angeles and plans for an additional 11,000 units.
