Promotions display commitment to the firm’s continued focus on expanding affordable housing throughout California
Los Angeles, Calif., (November 1, 2021) Meta Housing Corporation, a Los Angeles-based developer, has announced the expansion of its leadership team, promoting Taylor Rasmussen to Vice President of Development and Loren Messeri to Vice President of Development.
Meta Housing is a leading developer, owner and operator of affordable housing, bringing innovative solutions to deliver award-winning communities throughout California. According to Chris Maffris, Executive Vice President of Meta Housing, the firm has developed approximately 80 projects totaling more than 8,000 units.
Taylor and Loren’s development acumen and leadership have been instrumental to Meta’s recent growth,” says Maffris. “Their deep experience in complex financial analysis, project oversight, and other key areas will be critical to helping Meta advance our strategic initiatives and continue to deliver high-quality affordable housing.”
Rasmussen previously served as Director of Development at Meta Housing and hasmanaged the closing of construction financing for over 800 units of affordable housing.Rasmussen is instrumental in cultivating and managing key industry partnerships, as well as recruiting and retaining Development team members.
Messeri, who served as Director of Development, joined Meta Housing as a Project Manager in 2017. She has extensive experience in the affordable housing sector, with her previous experience including project management positions at Skid Row Trust. During her tenure at Meta Housing, Messeri has managed complex financial transactions and expansion into new markets, resulting in the development of over 800 units throughout the state.
