Skanska, a leading global development and construction services firm has hired Megan Moloughney as vice president of development to support its commercial development operations across Los Angeles. Moloughney will report to Clare De Briere, executive vice president for Skanska USA Commercial Development’s Los Angeles market.
Moloughney will be responsible for guiding project teams through the execution of Skanska Commercial Development’s regional strategy. This includes conceptual design, permitting, pre-construction and construction activities, leasing, operations and recapitalization.

Prior to joining Skanska, Moloughney was senior development manager with The Ratkovich Company. In her seven years with the company, she managed the negotiation and leasing of over 700,000 square feet of commercial office space, including The Alhambra. She has led the purchase and sale, refinance and recapitalization of a $200+ million-dollar asset and managed the design and entitlements for a 790-unit residential project, The Villages. Moloughney is an executive board member of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce and the Sister Stella Foundation and a member of the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was also selected as one of Bisnow’s SoCal Power Women in 2018. Moloughney graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Washington.
