Vacasa, a Portland-based vacation rental management company, announced its third mass layoff since early 2023 on May 9th, 2024. The company will cut 800 jobs, representing 13 percent of its remaining workforce. CEO Rob Greyber informed employees of the decision, citing a "difficult year" ahead.
