Venice Community Housing, Linc Housing and the Social Justice Learning Institute have started construction on Sankofa Place at Centinela, a two-building, 120-unit affordable housing and community campus in Inglewood financed through a layered stack of bank debt, state housing awards, tax credits and the first construction loan ever made by Los Angeles County's new regional housing agency.
