Chetrit Family Opens 348-Room Hotel Clark in Downtown LA After 27 Years and Three Failed Launches

After 27 years of ownership and at least three aborted launches, the Chetrit family has quietly opened the 348-room Hotel Clark at 426 S. Hill St. under OTH Hotels Resorts, wagering that Downtown Los Angeles can absorb a reborn 1914 landmark as hotel rates climb ahead of the 2028 Olympics.
