Pulte Homes is buying up more land in the Inland Empire. According to Vizzda records, the homebuilder acquired more than eight acres in Temescal Valley for $10.78 million. The property was sold by an entity affiliated with Starwood Property Trust.

The land is situated near Interstate 15 and Temescal Canyon Road and consists of 62 lots. The site sits among a number of other residential developments, though it is unclear what plans Pulte Homes may have for the site.

Founded in 1950, Pulte Homes has delivered more than 750,000 homes across 40 major cities in the United States.

The company has been responsible for the acquisition of other properties in the Inland Empire in recent months.

In October, The Registry reported that Pulte Homes acquired nearly 50 acres of land in Perris for $13.8 million. Situated at the corner of Evans Road and Ramona Expressway, the land was sold by an entity affiliated with Mission Pacific Land Company. The land is proposed for a 192-lot single-family residential subdivision with lots ranging in size from 6,000 square feet to 12,779 square feet.

The company also appears to be working on another residential project in Ontario. Late last year, an entity affiliated with TPG Angelo Gordon, in association with Pulte Homes, acquired 30 acres of land in the city for $65 million. The land was sold by several entities affiliated with Richland Communities. The site is situated at the southwest corner of Hamner Avenue and Edison Avenue and is planned for a 333-unit residential development, including 156 row townhome units, 82 cluster lots with an average lot size of 14,949 square feet and 95 cluster lots with an average lot size of 3,081 square feet.
