
SAN DIEGO, Calif. –– Cushman & Wakefield announced the firm has brokered the sale of a freestanding office/medical project of 26,945 square feet in Escondido (San Diego), California. Located at 800 W Valley Pkwy, the two-story property sold for $8.1 million to an owner/occupier.
The buyer was The Elizabeth Hospice, which for more than 40 years has been providing medical care and grief support to patients and families dealing with the challenges associated with an advanced, life-limiting illness. The buyer will initially occupy 80% of the building with plans to occupy the entire building as the existing tenants vacate.
Peter Curry and Mark Avilla with Cushman & Wakefield’s Private Capital Group together with Bob Cowan and Matty Sundberg also of the firm represented the seller, a private local investor, in the transaction. Don Zech, Nick Zech and Matt Orth of CDC Commercial represented the buyer.
