San Diego, Calif. – Colliers today announced the $5,905,000 sale of 2696-3241 Mission Village Dr., San Diego, CA 92123. The residential development sites sit in Kearny Mesa, just north of the new San Diego State University (SDSU) West Campus. The buyer, Citymark Communities, plans to build 120 garden-style apartments.
Colliers’ Senior Vice President Victor Krebs represented the seller, the Gleich Family Trust. The buyer represented itself.
“This property is primely situated less than one mile from SDSU’s new campus on Friars Rd. and within two blocks of elementary and middle schools. The new apartments will bring much-needed housing to Serra Mesa,” said Krebs. “The same family has owned the site since the 1950s; a family whose patriarch was the original developer of the Serra Mesa neighborhood.”
